Super comfortable, super light. IT ROCKS, LITERALLY!
This is hands down the most comfortable camp chair ever. It collapses down to the size of a large water bottle but MUCH lighter. Maybe the weight of an empty bottle. If you like to slouch (like I do) and really need good back support (ditto), this chair is for you. You will never go back to the upright camp chairs for just "hanging out".The really nifty feature is that you can rock back and forth, just a bit. It still feels stable but not stiff. I find it quite comforting.
If it has a downside, it's that it takes a minute to setup and requires a little strength. The first time is a bit puzzling but after that it's a piece of cake. -
Light, Sturdy, Comfortable - good buy
This TSE HC100 camping chair from Temple Street Equipment is a good buy at this price point. It's easy to put together and I didn't have to struggle to get the canvas on the pole frame. The poles are also good quality and set together quickly and easily. Once I sat in the chair I found the height is good and it's quite comfortable. It has built in arm flaps and a drink holder which are nice additions. There's also a drink holder included and a side pocket. The only slightly difficult thing about this chair was getting it back in it's bag. Aside from that it's lightweight, portable, looks good and is a solid purchase. -
Absolutely amazing
Iβm about 230 pounds and this chair holds up great for me. Itβs very comfortable, compact, and easy to set up! Perfect for hiking or biking! -
Nice camping chair for occasional outings, but pros might desire more
This camping chair is a great option for an outdoors novice like myself. I purchased this chair in advance of a week long fishing trip and have been pleased with its performance. As advertised it is extremely lightweight and assembles easily in seconds. It deconstructs to fold down into a small pack that fit easily both inside my hiking pack or could be strapped to it without being cumbersome or awkward. The overall construction seems reasonable for the price point although the plastic fittings likely won't hold up to rough or consistent use. It was sturdy enough to hold up to several hours of being seated during fishing but does tip if you lean too far back, which is a bit of a downside if you want to recline. If you don't overexert the chair's limits, it has good back support and was comfortable for a tall individual like myself despite its low profile. For occasional camping trips, or limited use at venues such as outdoor concerts, it seems to be a good value for the money. -
Ultra-Light, Stylish, and Surprisingly Sturdy β My New Go-To Outdoor Chair!
If you're looking for a no-fuss, grab-and-go chair for your outdoor adventures, this one hits all the right notes. It's incredibly lightweight, thoughtfully designed, and holds up better than you'd expect for its minimalist look.πͺ Sleek & Minimalist Design
The low-back design gives it a relaxed, modern vibe. It looks great without drawing too much attention and is perfect for casual use in parks, at the beach, or on the trail. It doesnβt feel bulky like traditional camping chairsβgreat for those who prefer a clean, streamlined setup.
πΌ Featherlight & Portable
At just 856 grams (less than 2 pounds!), this chair is shockingly light. It folds down into a small bag (about 14 Γ 5.5 Γ 5.5 inches), which easily fits in a backpack, tote, or under a car seat. Iβve taken it hiking, to outdoor concerts, and even on a bike rideβno shoulder strain, no hassle.
βοΈ Quick Setup, No Tools Needed
Assembly and fold-down take literally seconds. You just shake it out, snap in the pieces, and itβs ready to go. Itβs ideal for spontaneous plans where you donβt want to wrestle with complicated gear.
βοΈ Weather-Resistant & Durable
Despite the compact size, it feels sturdy. The frame and fabric are both solid and weather-resistantβgreat for different terrains and conditions. It handled sand, grass, and even light rain without any issues.
πΏ Great for Almost Any Occasion
Perfect for hikes, festivals, beach trips, or even backyard lounging. It's low to the ground, so it's best suited for relaxed activities (not great for eating at a table), but thatβs exactly what I wantedβsomething chill, light, and portable.
Final Verdict:
This chair is everything I need in a compact outdoor seatβstylish, functional, and so easy to carry. If you're a minimalist packer or just want something you can keep in the car for impromptu adventures, this is a fantastic choice.

Perfect if Small or Like to Slouch
This is the perfect compact camping chair if you are small or like to slouch. I'm 6'2", weigh almost 180 lbs, and am at the stage in life where I'm in danger of getting a permanent hunch. I don't want that, so I try to sit up straight or at least lean back fairly straight in chairs that support me.I love the fact that it is very lightweight, yet sturdy. In my opinion, it is perfect for someone short, but not for me.
